Is Tallyworks really free?
Yes. All tools are free to use and no account or sign-up is needed.
Is the information I type sent anywhere?
No. The calculators run in your browser and the values you enter are not sent to our server. See the Privacy Policy.
How many tools are there?
More than 200, including calculators for money, health and fitness, math and everyday tasks, unit converters, timers, clocks and games. Use the menu bar or the search box at the top to find one.
Can I trust the results?
The tools use standard formulas, but results are estimates and can differ from your bank, doctor, lab or school because of different assumptions, rounding or rates. Check important numbers before you rely on them. See the Disclaimer.
Why is my mortgage or loan payment different from my lender's quote?
Lenders add fees, insurance, taxes, rounding rules and rate adjustments that a general calculator cannot know. Use our result as a guide and ask your lender for an official quote.
Do the financial calculators give tax or investment advice?
No. They show math based on your inputs. They do not account for your personal tax situation and are not financial, tax or investment advice.
Are the health calculators medical advice?
No. BMI, calorie, body-fat, GFR, pregnancy and similar tools give general estimates. They cannot diagnose anything. Please talk to a health professional about your health.
Does the site work on my phone?
Yes. It works on phones, tablets and desktop browsers and adjusts to your screen size.
Which languages are supported?
English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Turkish, Arabic, Hindi, Chinese and Japanese. Use the language menu at the top. Some newer calculators are shown in English in every language.
Can I use my keyboard?
Yes. The basic and scientific calculators accept digits, operators, Enter, Backspace and Escape.
Does the password generator store my passwords?
No. Passwords are generated in your browser using its secure random-number generator and are not sent or stored by us. Copy it somewhere safe, because we cannot recover it.
Why is the tool I want missing?
We are always adding tools. Tell us what you need on the Contact page.
I think a result is wrong. What should I do?
Please tell us. Send the tool name, the exact values you entered, the result you got and the result you expected, using the Contact page.
Can I use the calculators on my own website?
