How to use the Maths Calculator
The Maths Calculator evaluates a full sum you type, with brackets, powers, roots, trigonometry and logarithms.
The formula
It follows the standard order of operations. sin, cos and tan use degrees; log is base 10 and ln is base e. Use ^ for powers and % for remainder.
Worked example
(3+4)*5 − sqrt(81) + 2^10 = 35 − 9 + 1,024 = 1,050.
